Isiguzo said, pointing out that except an athlete or a team were nominated, no matter the exploit of such an athlete, the committee cannot, on its own reward such performances with an award.
That is why I urge you, indeed, all Nigerians to nominate sports men and women of their choice for each category. Categories where there is no excellent performance, there will be no awards,”
he declared. Executive Directorr of Unmissable Incentives Limited, Kayode Idowu informed that there are 19 categories in this year’s edition. Nominations of potential award winners will end on September 23.
The award ceremony comes up on December 2, 2016 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victria Island. Idowu noted that Nigerian Sports Award has built for itself a reputation of a credible and respectable award set up to recognize and reward outstanding performances by Nigerian Athletes.

he said Nigerian Sports Award (NSA) was set out to recognize and celebrate outstanding performances by Nigerian sports men and women. The award is presented to such sports personalities, whose performances shone brightest at local and international level in the course of each year.
